Our country is having a long-delayed moment of redefining our vision of equality, fairness and inclusion within daily life.  In the realm of investing, a number of venture capital firms in the past week have announced inclusion initiatives including Andreessen Horowitz and SoftBank.

When it comes to inclusion, most investing firms are playing catch-up to Linnea Roberts & Ita Ekpoudom of GingerBread Capital. The proportion of venture going toward female, Black or Latinx founders remains small, and in my video interview with Ita, we discuss what inclusion means and what it accomplishes in terms of bringing more entrepreneurs and their business ideas into the economy.
