Moving the Dialogue Forward in Tech

As Y Combinator's first African American woman to be accepted into its accelerator program in 2014, Bea Arthur knows the Silicon Valley technology community well, both in its aspirations and in its areas that will take sustained actions to improve.  Bea, across two start-ups (the second a 2019 participant in Techstars and MetLife's Digital accelerator), has stayed focused—as a founder and a therapist—on innovating in the mental health space.

I appreciated her candor and insights into her experiences as a woman of color in the tech community, and her innovation in the on-demand therapy space.  Through The Difference, Bea is making therapy more accessible via partners like Amazon's Alexa.
